  • AIGA Richmond is gearing up for RVA’s premier design competition. But we need just one more thing: YOU! The Richmond Chapter of AIGA is in the planning stages of the area’s top design competition, the Greater Richmond Awards for Design Excellence, better known as GRADE. We’re looking forward to the seventh year of this nationally-juried, regional design event. To help us get started, AIGA Richmond needs volunteers to help with all aspects of this event. From coordination of the entries to the execution of the exhibit and ceremony, this is your chance to get a behind-the-scenes glimpse and hands-on involvement to carry out an incredible celebration of design. At this informational meeting here the Corrugated Box Building Tuesday, October 16th, at 6pm, we’ll share the facts about GRADE, what we’re looking for, and find opportunities for you to take part in this biennial occasion.  If you cannot attend this quick meeting, but are interested in helping as a volunteer, contributing as a sponsor, or just finding out more, please email Amanda Vance, Director of Competitions, at competitions@richmond.aiga.org.
